Mountain Top Elopement in Olympic National Park

I know I say it a lot, but how is this my job? Emry and Garrett’s mountain top elopement in Olympic National Park was one of those days that just took my breath away. From their cozy Airbnb in Sequim to their first look on the beach to the most breathtaking sunset overlooking the Olympic Mountain Range, I’ll be damned if you don’t fall so deeply in love with the Pacific Northwest while you look through these photos.

Getting ready at an Airbnb in Sequim, WA

Emry got ready in the coziest little Airbnb in Sequim. It’s about 35 minutes away from the entrance to Olympic National Park from Port Angeles. She picked an absolutely fabulous gown filled with lace, intricate patterns, small sparkles, and a deep-v cut. Then she paired it with a simple yet glam necklace. Emry and Garrett’s adorable pup got ready with her, too, looking all fancy with his absolutely adorable “best dog” outfit.

Once she was all dolled up & ready to go, she FaceTimed a couple of her favorite humans that couldn’t be there on the big day. One of the best parts of modern technology is that it allows us to stay in touch with loved ones from afar, so FaceTiming/calling your friends and fam on your wedding day is easier than ever.

About the Sequim Airbnb

This stunning cottage features a covered outdoor hot tub, a relaxing massage chair (yes, an Airbnb with a MASSAGE chair – talk about luxury), a full kitchen, 2 fire pits, and is just a short walk from the beach. It’s truly the most wonderful place to relax & have a little romantic getaway, whether you need somewhere to stay for your elopement or you just need a weekend escape together! The cottage only sleeps 2 people, so no need to apologize to your fam/friends for not inviting them along for the party 😉

A first look on the Washington coast

Emry and Garrett headed down to the beach for a sweet first look, because how could you not take advantage of being so close to the water? They took in the moment and allowed it all to sink in, and then pulled out a couple of Twisted Teas, which they’re obsessed with. We got the cutest portraits of them with their dog on the beach, both looking radiant as ever in the beautiful sun we were gifted with that day.

Once they were ready for the official stuff, we headed to their ceremony site on top of a mountain in Olympic National Park – truly what more could you ask for than stunning weather, plenty of sunshine, and your favorite people, with the most incredible views in the background? Their ceremony took place right during the peak of that pre-golden hour light that I absolutely love, the light that glows behind you and highlights all your best features. And of course, they celebrated afterward with some more Twisted Teas!

After wrapping up some cheers with their loved ones, we ventured off for some sunset mountain portraits of Emry and Garrett because we truly had the best sunset we could’ve asked for. The colorful skies behind the mountains were UNREAL, and the most magical way to end an already magical day.

This truly was one of those wedding days where I can’t believe this is my job. It feels surreal that I get to love on people, join in their joy, and create art all at the same time. These two & their big day was an absolute dream!
