The mountain engagement photos at Olympic National Park
Man, I had the best damn time with these two. We explored one of the most beautiful national parks in Washington, Olympic National Park, together at sunset. They unfortunately had to postpone their wedding until 2022 due to COVID, so we wanted to have a blast doing their engagement session so they’d have bomb photos to hold them over until the big day.
Emily + Dan’s cool AF collector car
These two are big fans of their collector car, so of course we had to use it as a prop in their sunset engagement photos.
We parked the car, threw a blanket in the back, and kicked back with the most epic views and some gin + ginger ale. Your engagement session doesn’t need to be complicated or stressful – let’s make it feel like you, whatever that means to you both.
After toasting glasses in the trunk of the car with the sun shining through, we headed out to get the incredible mountain views we came there for. It’s still unreal to me that I get to hang out with couples at locations like this for my job.
The sun gave us a show that night, with the dreamiest golden hour we could’ve asked for shinin’ over the mountains. Emily and Dan changed from their neutral-colored outfits into something a little more formal! The prettiest flowy white dress for Emily and a black jacket for Dan. I meannn how could you look more killer dancing on top of a mountain than these two did?
And wow did we get the best sunset! After the bright golden hour we had, the sky turned blue and the colors of the mountain + forests over the horizon were to die for.
Poe, the star of the show
In case you didn’t notice in the photos, we were joined by their cute af pug named Poe, who was really the star of the show. He looked handsome in his bandana and stole the spotlight when mom & dad were drinking gin in the car.
What a great evening this was with these cuties. Can’t wait for their big day!
